We are thrilled to invite you to an extraordinary evening featuring one of Bordeaux’s most legendary estates: Château Angélus.
Yves de Launay, Executive Vice President for the Americas, has arranged to ship us—directly from the Château—an exceptional lineup: three vintages of Angélus and two vintages of Carillon d’Angélus, perfectly paired with a stunning multi-course menu from our neighbors and friends at BlackSalt.
Yves will personally guide us through this rare tasting, offering insights into the wines’ history, terroir, and timeless elegance. With its Premier Grand Cru Classé “A” status, Angélus represents the pinnacle of Saint-Émilion—wines of richness, perfume, and extraordinary longevity. This is a unique chance to experience multiple vintages of bottles that retail for well over $500 each, in an intimate setting with world-class cuisine.

“Weihwasser” meaning Holy Water, from vines in the St. Aldegunder Klosterkammer vineyard near the old church in Alf. Barely off dry with salty lemon, pear and extremely high drinkability. This is a PERFECT old school feinherb as they used to be made, low in alcohol and disappears in the glass before you know it.

2025 FAAA! - Albarino Juanico (750ml)
FAAA! Albariño is made by third generation winemaker Santiago Deicas in the Juanico subregion of Canelones, Uruguay. The Deicas Family moved to South America from the Alpine town of Bormio, Italy and founded their winery in 1978. They first started planting Albariño in 2009 and now have approximately 12 acres of Albariño under vine. Juanico is a coastal region that benefits from a temperate climate and well drained soils that allow for a slow ripening period which enables the fruit to develop a natural acidity and salinity.

2023 Stein Himmelreich Kabinett Feinherb (750ml)
Consider this Stein’s “1er Cru” vineyard; though it’s a 1er Cru vineyard with 70 to 80+ year-old ungrafted vines and a serious terroir of mostly blue slate. This is the “other” Himmelreich and similar to its more famous sibling in Graach, the wines from this site always show a slimmer profile, a pronounced mineral fine-ness and lift. With only about 15 grams RS (just beyond dry), this is a wildly restrained and chiseled, old-school “Feinherb.”
