2007 Strub Riesling Kabinett “Soil to Soul”
A Terry Theise selection, the 2006 version of this wine was featured in the Washington Post article on Herr Theise and caused quite a buying frenzy among our customers. We like the 2007 even better, it has just enough sweetness to let you know you’re in Germany, and finishes nice and dry.

2004 Trimbach Pinot Gris Reserve
Another great food partner, this is one of the drier examples of Pinot Gris in all of Alsace. The wines of Maison Trimbach have always had a special place here at Macarthur Beverages. This wine is really in its “sweet spot” right now.

2006 Cristom Pinot Gris
This Pinot Gris is a pale-straw color. It has the aroma of Asian pears, white flowers and green apples along with some mineral notes. On the palate it shows a ripeness, viscosity and concentration that give the impression of fruitiness in a decidedly dry wine.

2007 Les Cailloux Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc
Andre Brunel is a true master winemaker. He consistently makes one of the better Chateauneuf blancs in the entire appellation (and it’s always one of the more fairly priced examples!).
“Honeysuckle, spring flowers, tropical fruit, marmalade, and lemon zest characteristics are present in this complex, full-bodied, dry white that should be consumed over the next several years.”

2007 Grand Veneur Cotes du Rhone Reserve
“As always, Grand Veneur has done a terrific job with the 2007 Cotes du Rhone Reserve red. Composed of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah, this gorgeous, dark ruby/purple-tinged offering exhibits plenty of meaty notes intermixed with black raspberries and kirsch. Full-bodied and luscious, it should provide plenty of pleasure over the next 2-3 years”. 90 pts. Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate

2006 Hope and Grace Sleepy Hollow, Santa Lucia Pinot Noir
"Deep Aromas of wild berries, almonds, white pepper and a hint of roses. On the first taste, the wine tantalizes the tongue with vivacious cherry fruit swirling amidst subtle oak spice, and a slight hint of smoky bacon. A superbly balanced wine, drinking beautifully now, but will benefit with short term cellaring."
