Tasted from tank just prior to bottling, the 2012 Chianti Classico Grosso Sanese is rich, ample and creamy. Red cherry, plum, rose petal and exotic spice notes all flesh out in the glass. The 2012 is an especially racy, silky Grosso Sanese with midweight structure, silky tannins and fine balance. Best of all, the 2012 will drink well pretty much upon release.
