The 2019 Trarbacher Schlossberg Riesling Kabinett is bright, coolish and flinty on the brilliant and spring-like Jugendstil nose. Picked before the rain, this is a picture-book Kabinett from about 25-year-old vines. Round and juicy on the palate, this is a filigreed, lithe and refreshing Kabinett with a crunchy, slatey finish. Tasted at the domain in September 2020.
