Anne Gros (one of the cousins from the famous Gros wine family - Domaine Gros Frere & Soeur, Domaine Michel Gros, Domaine A.F. Gros)is one of our favorite Burgundy producers who can trace her wine roots back to the late 1800's. In 1988 Anne started assisting her father at the family Domaine, and took the reins by herself in 1995. Her wines are simply sublime. In addition toher Domaine wines (Richebourg, Clos de Vougeot, Echezeaux,Vosne Romanee, Chambolle Musigny, Bourgogne blanc &rouge, and Hautes Cotes de Nuits blanc & rouge) she also runsa small negociant operation where she selects wines that standout. This cuv?e comes from grapes finely selected by Anne Gros, which she then entirely vinified and raised at the estate. At the exit, we find a wine that reflects all its expertise with obviously a more immediate approach. It's a limited edition each year!!!!!
