A 38-year-old single vintage 1981 Bas-Armagnac bottled by Darroze. Distilled using grapes grown at Domaine de La Poste in the Tenareze region, this was bottled in March 2019. Distilled using ugni blanc and colombard grapes. According to Darroze: The nose is very seductive thanks to the aromas like candied fruits, chocolate, brown tobacco and licorice. Supurb. The palate is rich, also very complex in aromas: orange peel, prune, cinnamon, pepper. The tannins are very delicate. Very long finish.
