Aromas of plums, raw cocoa, wild berries and sweet soil tones preface the 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis En La Rue de Vergy, a medium-bodied, bright and mineral wine, framed by powdery tannins. As readers may remember, this derives from a cool vineyard above the Clos de Tart, and it's one of the finer-boned wines in the range this year.
