The 2015 Terre Nere Brunello di Montalcino is wonderfully bright and expressive. On the palate, silky textures play host to a mix of red and blue fruits that wash across the senses, leaving grippy tannins and pretty inner floral tones in their wake. The finish is long and structured, as if the textural elegance of this wine had hidden its tannic grip right up until the finale. However, it maintains its feminine beauty throughout, balanced by brisk acids and lingering flavors of finessed wildberry and sweet spice.
