The 2019 Saint-Aubin 1er Cru Sur Le Sentier Du Clou opens in the glass with aromas of pear, crisp orchard fruit, blanched almonds and pastry. Medium to full-bodied, bright and lively, it's fine-boned and mineral. Pillot notes that this didn't fully finish its malolactic fermentation this year.
