Wafting from the glass with notes of cherries, raspberries and plums mingled with raw cocoa and candied peel, the 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes is medium to full-bodied, velvety and charming, with a ripe core of nicely concentrated fruit, powdery tannins and lively acids. This cuv?e saw one of the later malolactic fermentations of the range and took its time to come together, but it is more and more promising.
