Aromas of berry fruit, plums and cherries, complemented by hints of smoke and sweet soil tones, introduce Felettig's 2019 Bourgogne Rouge, a medium to full-bodied, layered and succulent wine that's lively and precise. Even if it displays plenty of upfront appeal, there's enough substance here to reward a bit of bottle age, too.
