The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Chalumeaux 1er Cru has a refined bouquet of scents of lime flower and dew-dappled Granny Smith apples; a crushed stone scent emerges with aeration. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, and quite racy and spicy. Very good depth and persistence on the finish. This gets better as it goes along. Good potential.
