The 2020 Rose is a blend of 45% Grenache, 39% Cinsault, 10% Mourvedre and the rest Shiraz, dry (1.5 grams of residual sugar and total acidity of 5.76) and coming in at 14.2% alcohol. This was sourced from 2007 vines. A nuanced pink, this has a distinctive flavor profile, thanks to that Rhone-y blend, about what you'd expect. It's clean and quite dry, though, rather deep and full-bodied. This is a pink that doesn't project a lot of energy, however. It won't be a lively porch-sipper in style, but it has the stuffing to act as a red wine substitute with foods when you want to drink something much cooler on a warm day. It's well done in its style.
