The 2018 Terrenus Serra de Sao Mamede is a field blend of 25% each of Arinto, Fernao Pires and Roupeiro, plus various others, unoaked and coming in at 12.5% alcohol. This was sourced from 40-year-old vines at 600 to 750 meters in altitude. A fine value at this price level, this shows fine concentration for the level, power on the finish and excellent overall structure. There is a certain metallic nuance in the background. Overall, this shows great, though. It is a lot of wine for the money, at least in Portugal. It seems capable of aging well, but let's start here and take that in stages
