The 2019 Marsannay Boivin has an overtly floral bouquet with gushing bunches of violets mixed with black cherries and cassis. The palate is medium-bodied with a toasty opening, quite plush and audacious in style, and layers of pain grill?-tinged black fruit on the finish. Fine length here, but it needs time.
