The 2016 Barolo Prapo captures all of the wild, unrestrained character that is so typical of wines from this district of Serralunga. Dried herbs, menthol, underbrush, licorice, pine, cloves and incense play off a core of dark fruit. Virile and imposing, with plenty of clout, the 2016 is super-impressive in the early going.
