A blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino, the Il Molino di Grace 2016 Gratius (made with organic fruit) is a rich and deeply concentrated blend that relies on ripe fruit from a classic vintage and generous oak aging to form both the intensity of the bouquet and the depth of the mouthfeel. After 12 months in new French oak and tonneaux, the dark cherry and blackcurrant notes yield to spice, toast and tar. This is a no-brainer steak wine.
