A notably cool and markedly spicy nose features liqueur-like aromas of red cherry, black raspberry, cassis and subtle floral and warm earth hints. There is a polished mouthfeel to the delicious and nicely vibrant middle weight flavors that possess superb length and beautiful depth on the overtly austere built-to-age finish. This isn't as powerful as the Mazy but it's notably finer and, somewhat surprisingly, even more structured. This is terrific, indeed the word brilliant comes to mind.
