The 2018 Meriggio is a very pretty white from Fontodi. In this vintage, Giovanni Manetti added 10% Trebbiano and also aged 1/3rd of the wine in terra cotta, both of which help retain a touch of freshness that is quite welcome. The combination of Panzano richness that comes so naturally, with the aromatics of Sauvignon and the energy of Trebbiano make for a compelling, super-expressive white.
