The 2009 Nairac has a refined and pure bouquet with ample botrytis, lovely honey and marmalade aromas, a sense of mineralité and tension. The palate is viscous on the entry, rich and decadent but with the acidity to back it up. Heady and opulent, almost Azsù-like towards the finish. A superb Barsac from Nicolas Tari. Tasted blind at Farr Vintners’ 2009 Bordeaux tasting
