Vivid straw color. An aromatic nose hints at Manzoni Bianco, with nuances of white pepper and ginger complementing pomaceous orchard fruit aromas. Then dense and suave with flavors of fennel, pear and apple, plus repeating notes of ginger on the long slightly warm finish (the label reports 13% alcohol). A complicated blend of 60% Rondinella Bianca (a mutation of the red Rondinella grape), 15% Gold Traminer, 15% Kerner and 10% Incrocio Manzoni that spent 6 months on the lees.</p> <span class='tasting-note-byline muted'
