The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Les Bussières 1er Cru comes from 0.50- hectares of 50-year-old vines and includes 30% whole bunches and is aged in 20% new oak. It has a well defined bouquet with brambly red fruit, sage and light sous-bois aromas. The palate is classic in style, fresh with chalky tannins, zippy acidity and a surprisingly strict finish that might be just going through a prenatal dumb phase. Afford it 3-5 years in bottle at least, because the long saline finish augurs a bright future
