Lastly, the 2014 Petite Sirah has a floral, blackberry and boysenberry nose with licorice, crushed rock and graphite. The wine has terrific intensity, magnificent concentration and a long, rich finish. About 40% new oak was used in its upbringing and the wine is set for 25-35 years of aging potential. I have liked the realistically priced wines from owner/winemaker Bruce Devlin in the past and they continue to impress.
