(the yield here was just 15 hectoliters per hectare): Bright, dark red with ruby tones. Very dark aromas of cassis, blackberry, blueberry, violet and licorice pastille. A step up in sucrosit? and texture from the foregoing samples, offering an enticing sappiness to its dark berry and licorice flavors. This concentrated, very juicy wine spreads out on the back end, finishing with rather suave palate-dusting tannins. Geoffroy Choppin de Janvry noted that this wine used to be harder but since he started farming organically in 2009 the tannins have become rounder
