The full-bodied 2016 Gigondas is a blend of 75% Grenache, 15% Mourv?dre and 10% Syrah, made and aged in concrete. Pepper, garrigue and raspberry notes permeate this supple, creamy-textured wine, giving it the right balance between drinkability and complexity. It's a terrific introduction to the appellation that should drink well for up to a decade.
