Based on Grenache (there's some Syrah and Mourv?dre in the blend) aged in foudre, the 2016 Rasteau Cuv?e Confiance offers a more elegant, medium to full-bodied style that's going to age beautifully. Terrific notes of cedar wood, dried garrigue, and ample red and black fruits all flow to a medium to full-bodied, silky Rasteau that has building tannins and impressive depth of fruit. It has a good 10-15 years ahead of it.
