Picked in the last week of September and vinified in a classic fuder, the 2017 Erdener Treppchen Riesling Kabinett -6- is a clear, fresh, ripe and flinty Riesling with racy acidity and a piquant, lush finish. The finish is so salty, piquant and stimulating, even though the lush sweetness is a bit too high for my personal taste. In any case, this is a serious and tensioned Kabinett with a long, complex finish
