Michael Moosbrugger's intensely yellow-colored 2018 Ried Renner 1?TW is an impressive wine. Deep, fine and flinty on the ripe but coolish, precise and elegant nose with very discreet toast/mocha aromas, this is a rich and elegant Gr?ner Veltliner, with ripe and intense fruit and firm tannin structure. It is a full-bodied, generous and powerful, complex, tensioned and still very young but age-worthy white with persistent, stimulating salinity and grip. The 2018 should be cellared for another 2 or 3 years. Tasted at Schloss Grafenegg and at the domain in September 2019.
