The easygoing 2016 Barco Reale di Carmignano is a blend of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 10% Canaiolo. This is an informal red wine to pair with grilled meats or a heavy casserole. The wine has the natural acidity to cut through those hearty foods.
