Composed of 40% Merlot, 30% Petite Sirah, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec, the 2016 The Investor is deep garnet-purple in color. On the nose, it features slightly subdued notions of blackberries, baked plums, boysenberries and dark chocolate with hints of tilled soil, garrigue and spice cake. Medium-bodied, the palate is laden with crunchy fruit, supported by soft tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing on a peppery note.
