The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos Saint-Jean is showing very well, opening in the glass with scents of crisp yellow orchard fruit, white flowers, marzipan and fresh peach. Medium-bodied, bright and tensile, its satiny attack segues into a deep, lively core, concluding with a chalky finish.
