Citrus-spiked honeysuckle perfumes the nose of this wine, along with a warmer touch of vanilla. The palate is slender, taut, bright and fresh, but also textured and creamy, blending that floral perfume with the aromatics of creamy orange peel. Layer upon layer of floral and citrus freshness continue to the dry finish. Lovely now, the wine will evolve. Drink until 2030.

The 2017 Alsace Muscat Roche Roulee will be the first release of this wine made with Muscat sourced in the valley floor. The sample from the large oak vat is beautifully fresh and piquant, with floral and mineral-infused grapefruit aromas on the nose. Juicy, lush and elegant, with a mouth-filling texture and good structure, this is a promising Muscat with nice bitters on the finish.
