The 2018 Riesling Roche Roulee is a very beautiful and complete wine. Open aromatics lead to a soft, silky palate with lovely plushness and depth. The Roche Roulee is creamy and expansive, showing terrific depth and plenty of charm. Apricot, lemon confit, marzipan, dried flower, sage and mineral tones all open effortlessly. The 2018 will be very easy to drink while young.

A slight whiff of smokiness is all that escapes on the shy, closed nose. The palate of this wine sweeps in with juicy flow, transporting a wealth of ripe, fresh Mirabelle plums framed by a beautiful, pithy texture. The wine offers intensity and a dry finish, and seems like a summer breeze.
