The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Clos le Village hails from a lieu-dit that's richer in active limestone than the parcels that inform Felettig's Vieilles Vignes, but it's a warm mesoclimate - just by the church - and higher in pH. Unfurling to reveal notes of ripe red berries, candied peel, peonies and cinnamon, it's medium to full-bodied, supple and fine-boned, with ripe acids and a precise finish.
