The 2019 Monograph Moschofilero is dry, unoaked and comes in at 12.5% alcohol. Fresh, bright and crisp, this pure and tightly wound Moschofilero drinks great today and has just enough substance in the mid-palate as well. There's tension on the finish and fine structure overall. The acidity makes this refreshing, and it leans to acidity rather than mere fruitiness. At the price, this is a no-brainer bargain. It's not necessarily the one you hold for five+ years, but under screw cap, it might surprise us. It will certainly be super this coming summer of 2021.
