The NV Dom Rozès 50 Years Old Tawny Port was bottled in 2022 with a long cork and 128 grams of residual sugar. This comes in a special one-liter bottling, using something similar to old 18th-century bottle types. It is branded with the winery's seal. This smelled old, certainly older than the lovely 20 Year Old, but it tasted surprisingly fresh, all things considered. And definitely delicious. There is fine grip on the long finish, with endless flavor. It adds remarkable richness, but the fruit always has the acidity to support the fruit. It is hard to find many flaws on this. It is all too easy to adore. This runs around 370 euros in Portugal.
