Fresh and ripe liqueur-like aromas are composed by notes of soft wood, black cherry, poached plum and plenty of earth influence along with a mentholated top note. The sleek, delicious and vibrant middleweight flavors possess a subtle minerality that carries over to the compact, dusty and youthfully austere finale where a touch of warmth slowly emerges. Note that this is firm enough to make clear that this will need at least a few years of patience. This too is excellent.
