Il Palazzino's 2019 Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Argenina is terrific. Bright, poised and articulate, the 2019 has a lot going for it. Wild cherry, tobacco, incense, licorice and dried flowers abound in this super-expressive Chianti Classico. Bright acids perk up the finish. I very much like the energy here. This is classic Sangiovese through and through.
