Saturated violet color. Primary blackberry and cherry aromas are complicated by suggestions of cracked pepper, licorice and pungent flowers. Supple, appealingly sweet black and blue fruit flavors show fine delineation and become spicier with aeration. The spicy element adds lift and back-end cut and discreet tannins add grip to a persistent finish that leaves a juicy red berry note behind.
