The Tolaini 2020 Valdisanti is a 50-50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from a vineyard called Tenuta San Giovanni. This is an especially intense and smooth red blend that shows impressive and seamless integration. You get the dark intensity of both grapes used in the blend framed by the sweet spice and toast of aging in French oak. This vintage carries especially broad shoulders and offers extra richness. Some 55,000 bottles are hitting the market in the fall of 2023.
