This is also quite elegant and notably spicier with its mix of anise, exotic tea, clove, floral elements and a pretty range of mostly dark berry scents. There is excellent delineation to the almost delicate middleweight flavors that brim with minerality before tightening up significantly on the youthfully austere, linear and compact finale. This is not a seductive wine, indeed it is borderline strict at present, but the Confuron VRBM has a consistent track record for aging successfully though it's also one that requires it.
