The 2022 Bourgogne Blanc, mainly from Meursault and some declassified Hautes-Côtes plus 10% must from Chablis, was bottled in August and contains 20% new oak. It has a tight nose at first, a little backward, perhaps after bottling. The palate is quite concentrated for a regional white with lots of extract matched by a keen line of acidity and a touch of nuttiness towards the finish. Delicious.
