A reflective medium red color, the 2022 Pinot Noir Freedom Hill Vineyard is open and pretty in the glass, with pristine notes of wild raspberries, pressed flowers, and rocky earth. Ken Pahlow’s favorite Freedom Hill since 2019, this cuvée is typically more black-fruited, but I really like this pretty vintage. Medium-bodied and well-structured, with ripe, defined tannins, refreshing acidity, and a slightly broader shouldered feel, it’s a fantastic vintage for this wine. Drink 2025-2040. 300 cases were produced.
