The 2019 Savennieres is a clear and pure style with excellent precision and light tannic tension. While there's an attractive roundness and sense of puppy fat, this has a real undercurrent like a rip in a sea thanks to its acidity and its schistous subsoils. You can expect delicate citrus, fresh apples and pears with a delicate almond that lingers on the textured and precise nish. NB: This cuvée is known as Clos de Saint-Yves in some countries.
