The 2022 Guímaro Pombeiras is 70% old-vine Mencía with 30% other varieties from Ribeira Sacra, fermented with 100% whole clusters and aged in barrels. Garnet in hue, the 2022 reveals rose, cherry, elderberry, herb and pomegranate aromas. Riper than other wines in the lineup, it boasts a ne stem inuence that adds texture. The contrast between broad palate weight and freshness results in a vibrant, long nish full of energy and tension.
