Argyle

Nate Klostermann is the 2nd winemaker in Argyle's 35-year history and has emerged as one of Oregon's most gifted winemakers. He currently celebrates nearly two decades at Argyle and continues to say he "landed in a good spot" when he arrived at Argyle to work his first harvest. With his finetuned winemaking skills and passion for Oregon wine, Nate is now recognized for making elegant and complex sparkling wines along with vibrant and impeccably balanced Pinot noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Pinot Meunier.

2018 Argyle Brut

A warm and dry summer lead to a concentrated, yet vibrant 2018 sparkling wine vintage in the Willamette Valley. Knudsen Vineyard, protected in the deep volcanic soils of the Dundee Hills, brings supple depth and elegance, while Spirit Hill Vineyard, in the windy and rocky volcanic soils of the Eola-Amity Hills, brings energy and minerality. Orchard fruits, citrus peel, and toasted brioche are framed around a creamy center and long, graceful finish.

2020 Argyle Brut Rose

Strawberries and Rainer cherries leap from this 2020 Vintage Brut Rosé with zesty acidity, fleshy volume, and strong character. This vintage's warmth and dryness allowed for us to play with youthfulness through time en tirage, intentionally creating another perspective of approachable Brut Rosé sparkling wine that is ground yet spunky.

2021 Argyle Pinot Noir

Ranging from juicy red cherry to blackberry and evolving with exotic spices such as star anise, peppercorn and black tea, the Willamette Valley Pinot noir displays the true nature of place. In part of fermenting in small vessels, we extract pillowy and refined tannins while preserving the striking acidity of the cool climate, youthful and age worthy Pinot noir.

MacRostie

Like Founder Steve MacRostie, Heidi Bridenhagen brings inquisitiveness and an absolute attention to the details that are essential for great winemaking to her role at MacRostie Winery and Vineyards. A dynamic and gifted young talent, Heidi was named MacRostie's winemaker before the age of 30, and is just the third winemaker in the winery's storied three-decade history. A believer in the value of exploration and experimentation, Heidi has worked closely with Steve to establish one of the Sonoma Coast's most diverse and acclaimed vineyard programs, featuring more than 30 Chardonnay sites and over 15 Pinot Noir vineyards.

2020 Macrostie Sonoma Coast Chard

With a medium golden color and alluring layers of persimmon, ripe Meyer lemon and rich brioche this is an elegant and alluring wine. Rich, textural and beautifully complex on the palate, its bright citrus flavors and cool-climate energy showcase the poise and purity of great Sonoma Coast Chardonnay.

2018 Macrostie Wildcat Mountain Chardonnay

Wildcat Mountain Vineyard Chardonnay always delivers something special and unique, and this vintage is no exception. Both intricate and exotic, this wine begins with alluring fruit aromas of Meyer lemon and fresh pineapple. On the palate, a round, rich mouthfeel accentuates Wildcat's signature high-tone notes of honey and spice. At the same time, thanks to Wildcat's windy growing conditions, which thicken the grape skins, it has engaging structure and body.

"Brought up in 24% new French oak, the 2018 Chardonnay Wildcat Mountain is another terrific effort. White flowers, toasted spice, peach, and honeysuckle notes all dominate the nose, and it's fresh and lively, yet also textured and lengthy on the palate."
