Just 85,000 bottles were made. The 2015 was a warm year, so it’s darker and riper than the house’s cooler vintages. Vinous found evolved oak, vanilla, and tertiary notes alongside lively black fruit, with a dry, lightly chalky palate, while Wine Advocate noted slightly more rustic tannins without the silkiness of some of its siblings.
