Bouchard owns just over one hectare of the site. The grapes are hand-harvested in small crates and carefully sorted, with about one-third of the clusters left whole. Fermentation in small vessels includes maceration of roughly two to three weeks. The wine then matures in French oak, with about half of the wood new.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eDark berry fruit leads the nose, with sweet berries and plums, raw cocoa, hazelnut, and loamy earth behind a brambly edge. The palate is medium to full-bodied, plump and layered, with a bright, fleshy feel and polished tannins.
