The vines sit at about 300 meters on light, sandy soils, harvested by hand in late September and fermented in stainless steel with roughly ten days of skin contact. The wine then matures for several months in a mix of large barrels and used barriques before further time resting in bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe result is deep ruby-violet in color, with a nose of baking spice, vanilla, and ripe plum. The palate is full-bodied yet fresh, soft-textured, and lively.
