About 25 hectares of its vines are Premier Cru, grown with sustainable and increasingly organic methods.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eLa Dominode is a 1.6-hectare east-facing Premier Cru on the mid-slope at the entrance to the Savigny valley, at the foot of the Jarons hillside. Its soils are clay, silt, and sand. The name comes from the Latin for \"lord,\" since the vineyard once belonged to the lord of Savigny. The 2024 season brought early bud break, spring frost, and a wet, difficult summer, yet the vines delivered balanced fruit. Grapes were picked by hand into small crates between September 11 and 21, then carefully sorted. About half were destemmed, followed by a five-day cold soak. The Pinot Noir was then aged for 19 months.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eBright ruby in color, the wine shows cherry and cinnamon, with violet and raspberry nuances.
